Get Over It!

Hey WW101′ers!

I think everyone knows I film 2-3 new workouts for our site every week.  Well, today I had to tell myself to GET OVER IT!  I’m having a day that requires me to dig deep and know that the workout is the best thing I can do for myself.  I always feel better after a workout and today was the perfect example.  Honestly, I think I could have laid in my bed and eaten a bag of sour cream and onion potato chips (salt issues).

I know everyone has those days.  I watch my client’s rationalize not working out and making excuses for their bad food choices.  GET OVER IT!  We all make occasional missteps whether its our health choices or decisions we make concerning our families and careers.  We have to move forward.  Wallowing in bad choices only makes us feel defeated, and depressed.  You (I) have to decide not to beat ourselves up over occasional missteps and refocus on our ultimate goals…better health and self confidence.

Life is short…go kick some ass!

Well, I came into “Cali” this past Thursday to house sit my friends 2 cats (Dusty & Lucky) and dog (Suki). As usual I video tape my workouts in the backyard. It was quite a challenge to video tape with Suki! She wanted to be in the shot and was very vocal about it all! When you watch workout #24 (Lungarama) you’ll see her video debut! She was very entertaining and a fun workout buddy! Suki is very smart, she gets into the “downward dog” yoga pose and starts to talk in her own special way. I finally remembered to bring the camera and I snapped a photo for all of you to enjoy!

Hi,

I’m a certified personal trainer that just launched a new website called: webworkout101.com. This blog is an opportunity to write about my thoughts on any given day. Trainers are people too! I encourage you to write and let me know your feelings and thoughts as well!

I’m very excited about my new adventure and am hoping to meet and workout out with many people. There are many of you out there that never went to a gym because of intimidation or didn’t know which equipment to use. My online video workouts are 25-40 minutes long and are for the beginner/intermediate. I walk you through what you need to know like proper form on each workout and slowly build the workouts up over time as you grow and get stronger and more comfortable.

The best part of my job is when my client experiences that “Ah Hah Moment” - the moment when they realize that exercise and healthy nutrition are a lifestyle choice.

I’ve never believed in diets. I believe if you eat right and exercise the way you should most of the time, you’ll never feel you have to diet. To me, diets are a recipe for failure…what happens when you’re off the diet. “It’s about lifestyle. It’s not about fitting into an unrealistic jean size; it’s about healthy blood pressure, great blood work, strong bones, and inner confidence.
